Ken began serving as Senior Pastor of Whispering Pines Baptist Church in December 2003, and has been in local church ministry since July of 1982. Pastor Ken has three earned degrees, including his BS in Business Administration from University of South Carolina (Class of ’77); a ThM in Bible Exposition from Dallas Theological Seminary (Class of ’82) in Dallas, Texas; and an EDD (Doctor of Education) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Class of ‘2010) in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Ken and his lovely wife, Laurie, have five fabulous children, one wonderful daughter-in-law, four adorable grandsons, and one delightful granddaughter.
